Burlington International Airport

The Burlington International Airport relies on a B20 biodiesel blend in the summer months and B5 in the winter to power its 41 vehicle diesel fleet. Since making the switch in 2006, airport personnel have noticed fewer emissions, according to Healther Kendrew, Director of Maintenance for the airport. She said switching to biodiesel was part of their effort to become more sustainable and using biodiesel has been a "big step in that direction."
